This blog is not a commercial site : you cannot order/pay directly from here. However due to my 39 years of experience in the electronics components it can help technicians to find ICs used in vintage synth. In some case I can provide the chip or the kit to you, do not hesitate to email me. I have been stocked more than 100 synthy/FX second hand & NOS (New Old stock) boards and more than 30000 NOS ICs in the past, dealing with musicians, manufacturers, importers, distributors, reseller's, technicians and dealers. In some case a swap is possible since I still search new ICs. Please note there is no warranty for the boards, even NOS. Over cost due to the time requested to test boards would be just impossible.
Most of the ICs are NOS or New. If an IC is second hand, this is mentioned. Test of NOS or New ICs is optional, usualy by sampling, it occurs mainly for Vintage parts with old DC (date code). Test of 2nd hand ICs is done part by part either w/ IC test benches or synthesiser. It is rather rare a New IC be bad. The same for the NOS but as long as the DC show a rather old device (>20-30 years) the risk is greater. If I should test all the ICs, it would request plenty of test benches and instrument I do not have.
